The Chubbsafes HomeSafe S2 30P lets you choose what works best for your home while making sure that your belongings are safe: Customize your unit with either a key lock or an electronic lock, but rest easy knowing that both will give you the highest of protection with an ECB•S, EN European Standard certification. Also available with Key Locking.

Boasting 30 minutes of fire resistance and certified to European standards of security, Chubbsafes Electronic Lock Home Safe offers supreme burglary protection. Beyond that, its fire resistance material and innovative "V" bolt system secure the door, utilizing the latest in security.  Not only is it fully tested to EN14450 S2 for the security of cash up to the value of £4000 and valuables up to £40,000, but also offers 30 minutes tested fire protection for paper documents. So not is your cash, jewellery and expensive gadgets protected, but also your passport, share certificates and other vital paper documents

  • Increased shelf position options in models 50 and above, which allows extra flexibility when storing small items such as jewelry boxes, watches, documents, etc.
  • The door is equipped with a "V" bolt system to ensure a maximum door integrity
  • Choice of EN 1300-certified double-bitted key lock or the “Pulse 2”, a reliable and stylish electronic lock that is very simple to use
  • Base anchoring: Now the anchor bolt heads sit below the level of the interior that now allows full utilization of the interior
  • Rear anchoring: fixing to the wall allows an even more convenient positioning – within upper floors in houses, within apartments, off the floor within wardrobes & cabinets – at the point of use. The rear-fixing solution still retains the dual certification for burglary and fire.

Luxurious Safe

The order process was simple. Ordered it online and the safe arrived when it was meant to. Very well packaged and the delivery service was outstanding. It was very heavy so the driver bought it into the house. Easy to unpackage and screw to the floor with the bolts and instructions supplied. Set up instructions were easy to follow. Changed my code and set up I did individual user codes for other people. It’s very spacious inside and there is no chance a burglar could remove it. Love the fact that it’s fire safe too for a period of time. Great safe.

I purchased the Chubbsafes Home 35E from Safe Fortress a few months ago, and it’s exactly what I needed. It has a good capacity - it can easily fit papers, my camera, the jewellery, our watches etc in with room to spare.

It also seems pretty robust, I bought from Chubb as it’s a known brand and it doesn’t disappoint. It weighs 60+ kilos and has a sturdy door and frame, you can also (should also) bolt it to the floor or wall which is necessary for it to be recognised by insurers.

All in all, a good safe and well worth the money, safefortress.uk even honoured their price match guarantee and knocked some money off.

Hope I don’t ever have to comment on the security aspects of the safe 🤞

The safe is easy to use - albeit there was a bit of guesswork as to how to install the battery as the instructions were a bit lacking and even an experienced installer struggled with them - so that’s a potential area where Chubb could improve matters
