How does the Electronic Lock work on the ChubbSafes Air 15E?
- Emergency override key for entry should battery power ever fail
- Patented "anti-bump" technology which protects the locking mechanism against impact attacks
- Security Tamper-evident keypad can be programmed from 4-8 numbers
- Once programmed, should three consecutive incorrect codes are entered, the lock will go into sleep mode for 20 seconds.
- Three further consecutive incorrect attempts will result in a five-minute time out.
- 4 x AA Batteries included
How to Install the ChubbSafes Air 15E Electronic Home Security Safe
- Pre-drilled holes in base and rear wall of safe
- Supplied with fixing bolts to secure to either a brick wall or concrete floor
- Place safe in position and mark drill points through pre-drilled holes
- Remove the safe and make holes using an electric drill with a masonry drill bit
- Place safe back in position, insert bolts and tighten to secure
- Bolts cannot be tampered with unless safe door is open
