The Burton Firebrand has been independently tested by ECB-S to give you 60 minutes of fire protection for paper documents. It has a £1000 cash rating and £10,000 for valuables such as jewelry. The Burton "SAFE FOR LONGER" warranty scheme for Home Consumers gives an extended warranty of 5 years on this premium Burton Safe.

How to Install the Burton Firebrand 1E Home Fireproof Security Safe Size 1

  • Pre-drilled holes in base of safe
  • Supplied with fixing bolts to secure to a concrete floor
  • Place safe in position and mark drill points through pre-drilled holes
  • Remove the safe and make holes using an electric drill with a masonry drill bit
  • Place safe back in position, insert bolts and tighten to secure
  • Bolts cannot be tampered with unless the safe door is open
  • Independently fire-tested and certified to EN15659 LFS 60P by ECBS
  • 60 minute fire test at temperatures of up to 900°C
  • Electronic PIN code locking
  • Batteries located externally so you are never locked out in the event of power failure
  • Dead bolts secure the door, even if the hinges are cut off
  • Removable tray in all sizes

Good quality safe for the price. Pretty easy to set up and get ready to use. Using mostly for important documents, cash, jewellery and important computer equipment like the Mac Air laptop I use for work - just fits inside. But this does just what I need it to do - heavy enough that you don't need to worry about anyone carrying it off even if you don't take the option of floor mounting it. You can find smaller, lighter safes, but this is perfect for all but high-end requirements

Easy to use and looks good. The jewellery tray is quite shallow but you can take it out if necessary.. My advice is always buy bigger than you think you need. It was really easy to install and fits into the bottom of our wardrobe well. I have bought three safes over the past couple of years and I would say that this one is the easiest to use, my only critic is that it is not quite big enough for our use, so definately get a bigger size!
